Deal Announcement – Sale of Mita-Teknik to Axcel

On 1 February 2012, Mita-Teknik and the Andersen family announced the sale of a majority stake in Mita-Teknik to Axcel, a Danish private equity sponsor.

Mita-Teknik is a world leading supplier of control system concepts to the wind industry and has a track record of more than 40,000 supplied control systems.

The CEO and CTO, both successors of the founders, continue in their current positions and maintain an ownership stake in the company.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval from relevant competition authorities.
